Everyone wants good health and at least to work out of their daily routine without any complications. Sarp asana keeps flexible spinal cord, the body muscles and helps keep the flow of prana energy balanced. Sarp asana stimulates the glands and keeps the oxygen does reach the innermost parts. Sedentary lifestyle led one sans sufficient exercise; hence, hormones, body muscles, and organs of the body would not coordinate each other. Hormones increase the metabolic rate of the body and increase heat production and maintain basal metabolic rate, and thyroxin affects the physiology of excretion. Sarap asana keeps fresh and more energetic all day long. Sarap asana backward bend is a good exercise for backbone, muscles and hormones. All organs of the body have got sufficient prana energy after doing it.


Cobra pose or sarp asana

The posture of the body resembles a snake, hence, that it is called or named after as Bujangasana asana or cobra pose or sarap asana. While doing Sarp asana, you can rotate the neck from left-right for three times slowly; within a couple of weeks as you feel relief from the neck pain or cervical problem. Shoulder bones, caps and hand bones will become strong as you do it for a month only.


Step:

·         Put on comfortable clothing and find a somewhere quiet place.

·         Lie flat on your stomach and the chin on the floor conveniently as your body allow.

·         Inhale deeply and exhale slowly.

·         Place your hands-on ground besides chest and raise head and chest to the navel, look overhead without raising the shoulders.

·         The arm should remain bent and balancing the weight of the body.

·         The toes should stretch behind together.

·         Your hip and the lower portion always be placed on the floor while doing cobra postures or Sarp asana.


Sarp Asana:

Sarp asana (serpent posture) cures spine problems, backache, and strengthen heart, respiratory complications, remove constipation, strengthen the abdomen, small intestine, large intestine, and improve appetite and abdominal growth. Sarp asana improves appetite.



Sarp asana keeps better adrenal gland, spinal cord, stomach and thymus glands.

Adrenal glands

 The adrenal glands are endocrine glands, small and triangular-shaped, either of a pair of complex endocrine glands situated on top of the kidneys has an outer cortex which produces steroid hormones.   The kidneys are either of two bean-shaped excretory organs which filter wastes (especially urea) from the blood and excrete them and water in urine. The adrenal glands comprised of two parts; the cortex and the medulla, and both perform distinct functions and regulates blood sugar, immune function, sex hormones, electrolyte and salt. When you are stressed and depressed, then adrenal glands release cortisol which response to a slow-down the immune system and increase the blood pressure. The adrenal glands produce hormones that help regulate metabolism, immune system and blood pressure response to stress and other vital functions;  produce adrenaline, steroids, aldosterone and cortisol, an adrenal-cortex hormone (Hydrocortone) that is active in carbohydrate and protein metabolism. A corticosteroid hormone produced by the adrenal cortex; is converted to hydrocortisone.




The thyroid gland and immune system

The thyroid gland is located near the base of the neck and any of several closely related compounds that are produced by the thyroid gland, and are active metabolically. It secretes hormones; these hormones regulate the body's metabolism of controlling the rate at which burns energy, quickly the reaction occurs. Thyroid-stimulating- hormone anterior pituitary hormone that stimulates the function of the thyroid gland thyrotropin. (Thyrotrophic hormone; thyrotrophin; thyrotrophic hormone; (TSH)). The pituitary gland (the master gland of the endocrine system) lies in the head and controlled brilliance, intellect, enthusiasm, sentiments of love and affection, self-restraint. The magic of the ductless gland has still attracted researchers from all biomedical and allied science.

While thyroid gland executes a role in maintaining mental stability and enthusiasm; harmonious activity supports the development of talents. The thyroid released the hormones that assist in regulating the essential functions of the body including regulation of breathing, body weight, heart rate, muscles strength, body temperature, the central and peripheral nervous system and cholesterol levels.



Sarp asana recalibrate kidney



Sarp asana or cobra pose recalibrate the abdominal areas, five Prana Vayu and three lower chakras as mentioned in the previous article and keeps the kidneys warm from extreme cold.

The excessive cold which comes from the kidneys weakens the middle and lowers back muscles especially the psoas muscles which surrounds the spine and runs down either side of the groin, which is near to the kidneys that supports the body to erect. Being stiff without sufficient heat cuts off the prana energy flow in the lower chakras that only manifest physical problems such as back pain, leg problems and being unable to uplift the body.
