The forward bends stretch and lengthen the natural curve of your spine




The asanas(posture) are very effective in clearing out all your body trashes, further, in galvanizing or stimulate the glands, proper working of which keeps you in good health and contentment. Asanas keeps the oxygen does reach the innermost parts, makes you feel fresh and energetic while strenuous exercises some time does not provide desired results. Basic reason behind it is that the number of cells breaking during strenuous exercises takes more time to form new cells, but in yoga when you are doing asanas, the number of cells that is breaking very small and, so form new cells very soon, in proportionately very huge in numbers.

Pashchimottana Asana:

The forward bends stretch and grow the natural curvature of your spine, back bone, spinal column(the series of vertebrate animal forming the axis of the skeleton and protecting the spinal cord)  creating space between the vertebrae; edifies the posterior muscles to keep the vertebrae properly bring into line manifesting more blood is brought to the area, squeeze the abdominal organ being nourishing them with fresh blood consequences, keeping the entire digestive system healthy further balancing your hormones and creates beneficial effect on the mind.

Sit on the ground with legs stretched forward, place your hand in namaste position near your heart then inhale slowly and bend forward by breathing out and hold the toes both hand, after one month you could able to wrap your palm around your sole and place your elbows on the floor, finger under you heels and keeping the legs straight. Hold your breathing as much you can and meantime touch your knees as your body permit. Best time to do this asana in the morning and evening before doing it warm you up just few minutes. It should not be done after meal.
Benefits: Pashchimottan asana strengthens waist, spine, bring about glow in forehead, cures disorders of knees, makes the spine and legs flexible, moreover strengthens the nervous system. If you have Back pain in the morning time and all the day you have not any pain then it will help you a lot
